Hi, I'm Tim! I'm a West Point grad, Iraqi War veteran, and Career Coach in the San Francisco Bay Area. Back in 2011, I made the biggest jump of my life, except this time it wasn't out of a perfectly good airplane.

I spent weeks working on my resume and tweaking my LinkedIn profile, but my job applications seem to keep disappearing into a black hole. Life happened and my wife was pregnant with our first child and we just bought a home. I wasn't prepared for the $80k consolidated debt loan or the intense counseling sessions that came just a few months later to save our marriage. I felt like I was failing on all fronts and wondered if I had made the right choice to get out when I did. I felt alone and completely overwhelmed so I sought advice from my good friend, who is a Vietnam Veteran as well as my former high school history teacher. His availability to listen and willingness to provide guidance from proven experiences helped me to get back on my feet.

I'm here to tell you that it doesn't have to feel like another deployment. Being from the military, I was no stranger to multi-tasking and understood what it meant to hit the ground running. In three years, I was promoted from GS-11 to 13 as a professional project manager. I also owned and operated two successful small businesses in the retail and service industry, consulted for start up businesses, pitched to a Silicon Valley VC firm for Series A funding and was promoted Below Zone to the rank of Major in the Reserves.

Enduring the suck and trying to just figure it out on your own can only get you so far...but with the right coaching, you will save a heck of a lot of time, money, and even grief from your spouse. Today, I enjoy the freedom of working from home, spending time with my daughters and focusing on my passion...helping vets succeed.
